Mechanism of Action

Keratosome™, developed by Genkord, is produced by in vitro and serial culture of keratinocytes obtained from a 2-4 cm2 skin biopsy, in graftable quality, in layers and in layers within 3-4 weeks. It consists of an amount of epithelium that can cover the entire body surface area.

Keratosome™ plays an important role in the proliferative phase, focusing on the restoration of tissue structure and function. Activation of keratinocytes and fibroblasts by macrophages through cytokine and growth factor release causes angiogenesis, collagen production, ECM production and epithelialization.

Burn treatment and skin resurfacing are a potential treatment option for scars and acne scars.
