Mechanism of Action
Matri-Cell™ is a tissue-engineered complex tissue replacement product consisting of chondrocytes and chondrocyte exosomes grown in a bioskeleton with a biocompatible, porous structure developed by Genkord. It is one of the alternatives used for defect repair in major joint cartilage defects such as knee and ankle.
The basic mechanism of action is based on the block adaptation and repair of cartilage cells grown and multiplied under GMP conditions on a 3-dimensional, biocompatible and biodegradable matrix using tissue engineering techniques.
Application Method
Intra-articular implantation can be performed.
Although it is generally used in load-bearing intra-articular cartilage defects, its use is recommended in the repair of all intra-articular cartilage defects.
