Mechanism of Action

CHONDROSOME™  is a cellular therapy product for cartilage replacement developed by Genkord.

In cartilage defects that occur after articular cartilage injuries, it is not possible to repair them spontaneously because the cartilage cells in the area are not supplied with vessels and blood. For this reason, CHONDROSOME™ supports the repair by acting on the signal molecules and mi-RNAs it contains, after injection into the problematic area in all areas with cartilage defects.

 

Application Method

  • Intra-articular
  • Can be injected locally (muscle – tendon – ligament) intralesionally.

 

It is recommended for supporting purposes, alone or in combination with fibroblast/fibrosome, in areas with cartilage damage and defects and tendon attachment sites, in the calcified zone area.
